I have a 70 gal fresh water fish tank up and running for a couple of weeks now. I have about 11 cichlids in there, one being a parrot fish. I noticed today that 2 or 3 of my fish have blackish markings on them that have never been there before. The parrot fish has it the most on his fins. I can see it easiest on him since he is a pinky-orange color. What are these black markings? Could it be some kind of fungus? How do I get rid of it? I have had fish before in the past, so I'm not a total newbie as keeping fish, I just have never had this problem before. Can anyone help me?
