Trek, Cannondale, Specialized, Giant, Felt, Kona, Fuji, Raleigh.
Strengths and Weaknesses depend on what you're looking for. Some companies (usually smaller ones) will focus more on either road or mtb. I think the ones I mentioned do both pretty well. But a company like Cervelo or Look will have very high end road and track bikes. In my opinion, those companies are all good in a commercial level. You have to choose one that works best for you.
