What are the styling differences when the Ford Cougar was facelifted around 2000-01?

I'd read somewhere the Cougar was slightly updated around this time, I'd like to know the interior and exterior differences and a photo comparison would be great too
 
You mean the Mercury Cougar coupe? It was actually redesigned in 1999 after being off the market for a year. It was a total redesign, I mean there were practically no similarities between the old model and new one which you'll be able to see:
