...ambassador? Currently I am a freshman in high school and I'm very passionate about human rights issues, and i just got interested in the global aspects of humanitarian work. Right now Im trying to start a club at my school that will help organizations like north korean refugees in china, child abuse around the world, and also because i have a direct contact living in lithunia( my friends grandma) where a lot of parts are very poor and underdeveloped i can directly send money to orphanages and kids in need there. As you can see Im really interested in making an effect globally and I want this to be my job later on. I'm currently in 3 honors classes and i excell in my world history class, have potentially great writing abilities, and in French 2. What are the small steps i should take to eventually work at the UN and become an ambassador? Must I become fluent in common foriegn languages like Spanish? Is it even possible for a girl with no political connections or wealthy family members to ever become an UN ambassador?
