What are the standards for Gym equipment in the uk and what is the code?

Basically i am currently doing a project at school where by i have made a product that has a single A frame and a back bone going in an arc to about 1 and a half meters away for rigidity it also has "horse stirrup" style handles to enhance press ups. But a criteria is to provide the standards for the product your creating so My question is what would be the appropriate standards for my product and what would the code be?
