What Are the Specifics of Metro PCS Flashing?

I am thinking about getting a phone flashed to Metro PCS, I want to know from you all who have had their phones flashed, at least recently, what will happen. Basically, I want to know if I get a phone flashed will I be able to use Picture Messaging and/or Web?

I heard Verizon phones flash better too, so with a Verizon phone will I be able to use Pic Messaging (MMS) & Web?
