I want to rent a bicycle in Copenhagen in order to save money from public transportation. But I've heard that in order to be aware of the rules you have to know the bicycle paths like a local, so I have a few follow-up questions: Are they always clearly marked or do you sometimes have to determine them from signs? Do you obey traffic signs or pedestrian signs? When should you watch out for pedestrians to make sure you don't crash into them and how do you avoid getting run over by bicyclists when you're a pedestrian?
