What are the restrictions for a knife to bring on a hiking/walking trip

through the Highlands? I know that the blade may only be 3" long. I know it cannot be a locking blade. I'm not sure whether a Leatherman is considered to be a locking blade. I would love to bring my Leatherman as it is a multi-tool. Please list your sources. Thanks!
