What are the republican and democratic sides of the health care debate?

Both are the same. For those who think - oh the Republicans, they're only out for BIG Insurance... and well those people are dumb asses. Both sides gain on all sides of the arguments. Both have been funded by lobbyists.

What the GOP wants is Malpractice Reform because lawsuits are killing the system and lawyers are getting, and staying rich from it. They are the only ones who really gain. And it's why they are the #1 donating entity to the DNC.

Keeping it the same. Playing good cop and bad cop. If you don't know that lawyers make more than doctors, then you will don't know that the GOP is on the side of the doctores, and the DNC on the side of the lawyers.

Who's really telling the truth?

Repubs want health care reform(to stop doctors from getting so many BS law suits against them) but no government option (i.e No free health care) because it will cause tax increases and possibly to much government control. They also worry about rationing, prioritizing patients, neglect of the elderly in favor of younger patients, etc. (Basically becoming like the English and Canadian health care systems)
Dems want a stronger central government and free health because they don't want anyone to go uninsured. Don't think it will cause tax hikes, rationing etc.

Which is right? Well a slang term for Republicans is "Right" or "Right wing" But assuming you mean correct. That's an opinion, one you should make for yourself. :) Don't let bashing and childing insults or un founded promises from EITHER side make up your mind for you. :)

Republicans don't care if you drop dead as long as the health insurance companies make HUGE profits.

Democrats want to offer health care to everyone.

Republicans think their corporate benefactors in the health insurance industry should be able to collect premiums from you for decades and deny you care when you get sick.

Democrats, with a few notable exceptions, do not.
