What are the reasons for NOT getting an iPhone?

I really want one, but what are its worst features? It's not like Apple advertise them! I just want to know the full picture, whether it's worth it or not, before I spend all that money. I'd be going for Pre-Pay with o2 in Ireland so bills don't bother me, especially not AT&T call plans or anything like that! :) Thanks guys!
