what are the pro's and con's of Dodge ball in middle school?

My granddaughter was suspended when she threw the "ball" at a girl..
after the teacher called the class "over" the girl that was hit w/ 'ball'
ran up to my granddaughter and slapped her across the face. How does this fair?My grandaughter suspended!! I think both girls should be suspended. Please give your thoughts.
 
Pro: It's funner than running 20 miles a day.

Con: They ALWAYS target the asian kid (me).
 
This is not fair. I would ring the school and talk to the teacher about the matter. it is clearly not fair, and i don't think your granddaughter should have been suspended. detention maybe, but not suspension. In my opinion, the other girl is the greater offender, and she should be suspended.
 
your granddaughter doesn't deserve to be suspended, the girl who slapped your granddaughter should be suspended
