I desperately hope this is a boy but was told to look at the positives of both genders. I don't know where to start.
I care what the sex is.
A daughter would not be my Emily. The daughter I had that we lost.

I think it doesn't matter whether or not the baby is a boy or girl as long as the baby is healthy. We are due with our first on March 24th and we don't know the sex of the baby because in our mind it doesn't matter what the sex is. As long as the baby is healthy then we are happy.

b happy 4 it being healthy. a new girl cant replace ur daughter u lost already.

Men are more intelligent, more logical, stronger, and more self-controlled than woman.

There aren't really any pluses to being a woman...

i know what you mean i want a girl but im sure its a boy so the pluses about girls are
1. potty training is alot easier you dont have to teach them to aim.
2. more clothes to buy

really either way you are blessed to be able to carry a baby and the joy of giving birth

Girls get along with their mothers and grow up to be friends to their mothers. Boys grow away from their mothers.

For me the positives to both sides were:

Girl: Just like me!
Get to dress her in pretty little clothes
Easier to potty train
Easier to shop for little girls
Boy: Just like his father!
Athletic

I'm having a girl!!

Girls are easier to diaper because you don't have to point any anatomy downwards before fastening the tabs.

a baby is a baby no matter what sex
you will love that child more than anything in this world there is no better sex x x

It used to be that having a boy was fun for dads-- someone to play catch in the back yard with, someone to carry on the family name, a child who would play with bugs & Legos. Moms could teach their little girls to sew, cook, fix their hair & makeup, play dress up, etc.

But now, we live in a unisex world. Boys are told it's ok to wear dresses & makeup if they want. Girls are pressured (more than boys) to become doctors, lawyers, business women, and other professions that are traditionally male dominated. So I don't see how either has more pro's or con's than the other anymore. So why do you "desperately" want a boy? My friend was like, "I don't EVER want a daughter! This kid better be a boy" and sure enough, she now has a 13 month old daughter. She loves her to death & I'm sure she wouldn't ever wish her next child was a certain gender.

Girls are fun and frilly and enjoy being like mommy. Boys are rough and tumble and just love their mommies and always have a special bond with them.

God never makes mistakes!!!! If he gives you a boy great thats what you wanted, but if he gives you a girl thats what it was destin for you to have! You never know what God has in store for you and if you have a girl or a boy which ever you have it was ment for you to have them! A girl you could dress up frilly and put cute hairbows on her! LOL! plus when she gets old enough you'll have a best friend! I have three girls myself and I couldn't imagine my life without them!
