OK, so today my little students (age 6 and 7) played with leaves of a shrub that turned out to be aucuba japonica, a moderately toxic tree. I am very worried. They did not eat them, but they touched them 
None of them looked sick even after an hour though, only one child felt feverish.
Could they get sick after playing with those leaves?
