...expand their vocabulary? I recently picked up a book by Charles Dickens and found no fewer than 75 words that were either used in a different context than I was familiar with, or I was completely unfamiliar with. Since then I've decided to start reading novels as a means of expanding my vocabulary, and was wondering if someone could offer some recommendations for authors that use uncommon or polysyllabic words. I'm not looking for fake words though.
