what are the loudest pipes on a harley davidson?

And people wonder why harley riders are detested. What you have is one of the lowest horsepower bikes made today. A bike for noobs and posers. Last year I was hiking in Yellowstone, far from where I could hear the loudest semi truck, but I could hear jackasses putzing down the road on their harleys loud and clear. No one is impressed.

The loudest exhaust I can think of would be 1 and 3/4 pipes about 10 inches long into properly angled 4 inch echo cans.

Now, a ? 4 U.

Why?

Straight-piped would be loudest, but why would you want to make an annoying, POS Harley even more annoying? They sound like s*** through and through, don't go make it worse.

Don`t get too carried away with how loud your pipes are. A lot of RUBS change pipes and because their bike is loud they think that it was a performance upgrade. Often the bike will perform worse with the loud pipes than with the stock.I run a 31 year old shovel with a Hooker 2 into 1 and it isn`t that loud.It does sound like it means business though. My motor is not highly modified but is is far from stock.I have embarrassed fng`s on twin cams that would have beat me if they had been left stock

Numerous scientifically-based studies have determined unequivocally that the loudness of an exhaust is inversely proportional to the intelligence of the rider.

Q: What's the difference between a LOUD Harley-Davidson and a Hoover?
A: The location of the dirt-bag.
