Are there laws in Michigan for flying ELECTRIC RC planes? if so what are they? I know that you need a ama lic and be in a club for nitro/gas planes but not sure about electric. I have a 33" wingspan electric Corsair that i fly everywhere w/ no problem from the police BUT I just bought a 57" electric P-51 that has a top speed of about 90 mph and weighs 4lbs. so i can't get the simple "park pilot" ama license and will eventually get the full membership but just wanted to know if i really need it?
