The inner planets are Mercury,Venus, Earth, Mars. The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Although, Pluto in no longer considered a planet because of its small size and irregular orbit.
The inner planets, also called the terrestrial planets are all the planets inside the asteroid belt. They include murcury, venus, earth, and mars. The extraterrestrial planets are all the plantes outside of this belt like jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, and pluto.
