what are the hazards of a horse who crib bites/wind sucks or weaves or box walks etc?

Ok I know what they are, but what are the serious hazards that go with them? a friend told me horses who windsuck/crib bite can get colic from doing it, but a windsucking collar works on loads of horses, and weaving, you can easily fit a weaving grill to a stable, and these vices often stem from boredom anyway so if you can keep the horse entertained then that'll affect them too. So why do you see on so many adds that horses who would normally be worth a ton more much cheaper because they have this vice - apart from it being an annoyance and you'd rather have a horse who didn't do this, do they have any serious implications? How likely is it that windsucking can cause colic? what can weaving/box walking cause?

Im asking because i see loads of ads for horses who are worth so much more, but reduced because of this vice. I recently went to try out a gorgeous 16.2 warmblood competition horse, and loved him, he was amazing...he was priced at £2,500 where his real value should have been more like £7,000 because he crib bited occationally. I also saw a lovely tb who was perfect in every way except that she would weave at feed times from her time on a racing yard...she was priced much cheaper because of this. Because I didn't know enough about these stable vices I passed over these 2 horses, but i want to know incase i find another like this.
