what are the ethics of returning to sport after injury?

so after someone gets injured in sport
are there ethics that someone must follow to be able to return to play or to play again..
like i have heard that in football you cannot play anymore if u have been knocked out x amount of timess

IS THAT A SPORTING ETHIC?

please let me no PDHPE assignment
DUE TOMORROW

the question is:
Evaluate the policies and procedures that regulate when an athlete returns to play after injury.

BUT ETHICS NEED TO BE INCLUDED..
