What are the differences between the Honda Foreman and Rubicon? Which is better?

Just trying to decide which would better suit me. They sound like they have a lot of the same features. Im looking for a 4wd with the ability to switch to 2wd. I don't care if I have to shift it with a clutch and lever, the electric shift is prob just something else to break and leave you stuck in the woods. Whats the approx life span of these things in hrs or miles? Ya, I realize granny drives one different than a 17yr old hence the term "approx". Im looking to ride trails and plow my driveway. Skid some small trees if it has the sack. Any help choosing which is the better suited machine is appreciated
