French Ring was created as a National dog sport in France. Mondio Ring is translated as "World Ring" and allows people from other countries and training disciplines in ONE Ring. The KNPV, NVBK, French Ring, etc all send their top guys to compete at the Mondio every year. Since its inception, there has been a movement to create a "style" if you will of a training discipline that can be called Mondio, but, if you know what you are doing, if you are experienced, you can see that with a few modifications, the rest of the exercises are pretty much the same. There are a few books and videos on both subjects, dogwise and leerburg both have some, but, you really need a training club in order to learn more! Hope I helped!
