My friend rented a room in my house. Then he began "borrowing things he never returned" like eating my birthday cake and leaving no food for my birthday, and eating my Thanksgiving turkey after he ruined my birthday and Thanksgiving. He did both things without permission. I began taking some of his things as well. We haven't been getting along very well. After he moved out during November he lost some type of card holder with some money in it. He blamed me for it even though he doesn't have any evidence or witness. He said he would bring me to court. I don't like it and am getting very nervous. I really don't know much about this. I even offered him some money if it would make him feel better at first he wanted $100 and now he wants $300 I really think this is unreasonable. If he really does want me to go to court I want to know the court rules. I also hope that someone can tell me if his bringing me to court is legal.
