The only country that can collapse is the USA and that is because the USA built every developed/industrialized nation and is the only nation with no safety net. USA makes all the scientist, population, has the least brainwashed people.

Every economy could collapse except America and it could still do ok. Right now they export 1 trillion of dollars in wealth for oil and another trillion a year for goods from China. Frankly if China and the middle east collapsed, American economy would improve, and we knoe this is true as the american dollar improves in recession whereas every other dollar declines.
Now if America collapsed, Canada would lose 70% of trade/wealth in 1 year and go back to the stone age. Britain, Japan, France, Germany, China, would all be screwed, and so would all those middle eastern sheiks who depend on american demand for oil.
Oil will never peak, the OPEC meets and discusses how they can keep America addicted to oil forever. America is the only industrilized country who waste money on buying foreign oil, the British, the Canadians, the norweigans, austrians, all have their own oil. The brazilians, indonesians, and japanese all make their own oil from bio fuels. The austrailians take it from other small countries without paying in the pacific. and the french are nuclear and overcrowded so the subway works for them.
