York State education? My boyfriend and I will be juniors at SUNY Cortland in the fall and are trying to figure out our future beyond college. He will be looking for a job as an elementary school teacher and I will be looking for a career in guidance counseling. We are currently long distance and need to find a place to settle down somewhere between our homes- Albany and Long Island. It has become extremely difficult to get a job in a school in NY, so this has led us to look into Massachusetts or Connecticut (and are willing to look into other surrounding areas). I was hoping someone would know if our luck in this field grows when we go out of state, and if so what are the statistics involved. Thanks!
