Oh yeah, I bet declawing is a pretty big topic. I hadn't thought of that one.
Although I own two cats, I'm definitely more of a dog person, so I usually stay in that category. Both of my cats were from the shelter, but I know in the dog section, questions often revolve around back yard breeding/pet store puppies vs. adopting or buying from a reputable breeder. Are there back yard cat breeders, or does that never come up? Are there arguments over different cat breeds? What about cat shows - are the cat section people into those?
Just was wondering because I've gotten so used to the dogs category.
Also, what about spaying and neutering - are there spay/neuter police in the cat section?
Yes, people in the dog section also get annoyed when people have a dog who is seriously injured or sick and they go to yahoo answers to ask what to do.

In the dog section, there are often questions regarding purebred vs. mixes. In the cat section, do people really care what breed their cat is?
