What are the best TENT camping sites around the Smoky Mountains for october

camping? We're coming from FL -? We're actually coming from Louisiana and heading north for some october camping then back home to south FL. We're looking for a nice place to do some hiking, bike riding and nature sight seeing. We're pretty rustic loving people and like to be away from crowds but we do have two kids (6 and 9) that will limit any backcountry camping.
