Also, it needs to not run out of breath too quickly, I live in an area with a lot of highway, and it will need to get to 70 on a regular basis.
I am also looking at "longer" rides. About 150-200 miles sometimes.

What would be the best starter bike for me?
I've sat on several and the two I'm really looking at are the V-star 650 and the Suzuki S-40.
Any opinions or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
