I used to bike everywhere. I did some long distance biking 10 years ago. But my last bike was stolen 4 years ago and I haven't had one since. Need to get a new one. My preference is for something with gears. Not sure if I should get a road bike or a mountain bike. Would like to spend $1,000 or less.
