I recently bought the Samsung ST550 and took it on holiday. When I looked at the photos on my laptop I saw that some were slightly blurry so hadn't focused very well (this was mainly on zoom, though daylight shots were great) and the night time/low light shots didn't turn out great.
I had my settings on either Auto or Smart Auto which recognizes the scene automatically (e.g. landscape, so adjusts the settings), the photo size as 9MP (maximum is 12MP) and the quality as Fine (but there is also Normal and Super Fine).
What are the best settings to use please? Should I up the megapixels to 12 and change the quality to Super Fine, for example? I don't mind what size they turn out as I have 4gig and 8gig memory cards so plenty to spare, I would just like the best quality I can get for in the future.
And also would it be best to choose the scene myself and adjust settings individually? If so then I'll have to learn about ISO speeds.
