What are the best kind of Motorcycles? (street bikes)?

i'm looking at street bikes, and i'm trying to get opinions on what the best made types are, the safest, and most reliable to NOT break down are?
i want one that looks hot, but i want it to made made well and gets good gas milage.

I've heard Ninjas cost a bunch to fix, but i like how they look.
 
The best value in motorcycles are the 600cc class naked sport bikes
These bikes can do anything you expect them to do, if you want a commuter bike they get over 50 mpg, if you want long trip touring bike, they are comfortable for the long trip, if you want a fast bike not holding up traffic, these bikes will all go over 100 mph.
These bikes are super reliable, comfortable, easy to ride, no vibration, lightweight, you won't be physically worn out after riding one all day and are the most motorcycle you can get for the money.
My Suggestions:
Yamaha FZ6R
Suzuki SV650S
Kawasaki 650 Ninja
 
I would go for one with two wheels. Anything after that is personal taste. Get whatever you feel comfortable on and can afford.
