What is the most beautiful, emotional piece of literature you've ever read? Why do you love it?

Recently I read The Kite Runner and I thought it was amazing. I also love The Joy Luck Club, My Sister's Keeper, The Giver, Julius Caesar, To Kill A Mocking Bird.
I also really really love the movie Into the Wild so if anyones read a book like that movie, let me know. I heard the book isn't very good though so I didn't read it.
