I'm taking a History of Middle East class for collage and we have to pick out a fiction book based on the middle east. Anyone got any ideas. We don't have do this for a while but we have to approvee the book this week.

"A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini
Absolutely amazing book!!! I read it in 8th grade, but it'll be quite good for college too, since it is written for adults. I have friends who say "The Kite Runner" by the same author is very good too, but I haven't read it. "A Thousand Splendid Suns" is fantastic though. Hope this helps.
