my aunt did the reserve.. she said it was great and that you go like one weekend a month or something and then you can either be picked or ask to go on other longer duty assignments they are good because they help pay for school and also give you a paycheck and you could still have another job on top of that because its not like a fulltime thing. and while you are on your assignments you have benefits as if you were active like using the hospital and what not
