...fish tank? I have a 50 gallon community tank with 4 clown loaches and 4 Rainbow fish. I have read that adding aquarium salt is beneficial for the fish. I have also read that Loaches do not like salt in their tank, is this true? What are the benefits of adding salt to my tank? Also is there any bad side effects? I change about 1/3 of my water every week. I have been adding 4 Table spoons of aquarium salt every very 2 months after I change the water. Is this too much or too little? As the directions recommend 1 Table spoon for every 5 gallons. Thank you. Also any links or web-pages you can provide would be great.
