What are the advantages of BS psychology as a pre-med?

I'm just wondering how BS psychology would be useful in being a pre-med course
I don't intend to pursue a PhD in any areas of psychology/ psychiatry...

And if ever I don't pursue a career in medicine...
what would be my future?
Especially in the Philippines
where people don't often visit psychiatrists and psychologists
