I am curious to know on a serious note, what achievements in areas of literature, science, mathematics, philosophy, music, warfare etc. that Indian civilization has experienced throughout its history until the modern period.
p.s. By Indian civilization i mean peoples who have acquired a distinctive 'Indian' cultural, linguistic and/or religious affiliation amongst themselves. By no means is this an ethnic marker. This would encompass broadly speaking: modern day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka..conversely you could consider Afghanistan, Burma and (controversially i might add) Tibet as well under that bracket..not to mention most of SE Asia at one point was 'Indianized' culturally through trade with southern India.
