On my homework it asks what do you believe are America's three most famous speeches.

I think the Gettysburg Address and I Have a Dream for sure. But I don't know a third.

1. I did not have sexual relations with that woman. (Clinton)

2. There will be no whitewash in the Whitehouse. (Nixon)

3. I am totalogically disgustified. (Bush Junior)

I would say:

Martin Luther Kings "I have a dream"
The Gettysburg Address
William Jennings Bryans Cross of Gold Speech

There are probably a lot more that fall in the category but that's what I could come up with....

There have been many but most have one theme throughout, Liberty.
I would mention Regan's "Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall...".

My opinion would be:

Lincoln's Gettysburg Address
Kennedy's "Ask not what your country can do for you" speech
King's "I have a dream"

FDR's innaugural, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself!"

Definitely the two that you mentioned.

What about Patrick Henry, "Give me Liberty or Give me Death!"
