I have a close guy friend, who rejected me a while back romantically.. He seemed really attracted to me and we got along decent so I didn't really get it.. he told me he wasn't ready and didn't feel sparks. We try to stay friends but I just don't get it. We live far away so we keep in contact through IM and email.. and sometimes he seems really standoffish like he's always "busy". Yet we keep in contact through emails all the time, and always have an email going back and forth. I don't know if he cares or not and it bothers me b/c I don't know if I'm wasting my time trying to be his friend in return. How do I test to see if he cares?? Are there any ways to be able to do this?
