I don't have horrible credit, it's just not good enough for me to get a loan without a co-signer. I need a car but I can't get a loan. I work only a part time job but it's still really good money. I'd easily be able to make all the payments for the loan.
But I don't know what ways there are to boost my credit. I've been thinking about getting a store credit card and only using the card once a month for a small purchase and pay it off at the end of the month. But I don't know how much that'll help.
I'm also 20. I have a cell phone plan and pay it off every month on time. I had an apartment and paid the rent every month on time. I don't even know if those effect my credit.
