I work for a large newspaper in Louisiana and my sales numbers are substantially less than stellar. It's a really good job and I want to make it work, but I don't think I have the kind of outgoing personality for it. I am more introverted than all of my coworkers and I think that hinders me. So what I need are some really good tips for someone like me to succeed in ad sales.
I'd like to ask that no one respond telling me to "find another job" or something else along those lines. I was out of work for months before finding this job so with the economy the way it is, I know how hard it is to "just find a job." I have to make this work. I have no other choice.
