What are some sports/activities I might enjoy doing for exercise?

I have tried running, but I just dont enjoy it! To be honest I would really rather be shot and fall over dead than run for exercise! My older sister is a runner, and she is so slim it makes me depressed. Im not saying I want to be a stick, but I know I need to get healthier. I am 15, and I am not comfortable with myself. I have went bulimic for a while, but I hate puking. Ive tried not eating. But what can I say...I LOVE FOOD! My whole life I have been single, and all of my friends and family have had boyfriends, or even just people liking them! But, Im the ugly duckling. And I really want to change that! Any ideas as to what a 15 (almost 16) yr. old girl would enjoy for exercise?? Something like Yoga or swimming? The thing is...Its hard when I exercise alone. I need something that would be enjoyable when im by myself?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
 
When it comes to exercise, swimming is your best bet because you're moving in and out of water a lot so there's no need for conversation! Also, the simplest form of exercising is walking. It can be fun when you're alone (during the day of course!)...just crank up the Ipod/mp3 and you're good to do.Another fun thing to do (except it's inside) is to get one of those work out videos (if you're into hip-hop they have a lot!). They give you something to focus on while not thinking about being alone. You can go old school and whip out a jump rope or a hula hoop.

Tips for eating: This REALLY works. Eat little portions throughout the day. You can still love food without overindulging. When you do this, you're constantly burning the food off (unless you're sitting on the couch all day). Therefore you'll be hungry more often, but you won't be piling loads and loads of food into your body all at once. Eat the "fattier" portions in the middle of the day, and end your day with fruit or veggies (or another lower calorie food).

Diet and exercise...it works!

I totally know what it feels like to be the ugly duckling (chances are there's probably someone looking at you and you just don't realize it!). Hopefully this helps you turn into a beautiful swan!
 
Swimming is great exercise. It works all your muscles and you don't even realize it. What ever you do don't stop eating. Just eat six small healthy meals a day. Also drink alot of water. It will fill you up so you don't snack.
