What are some solos to learn for a typically good guitar player??

I'm pretty good. I've been playing for a year, and with practice can go moderately fast. I'm just looking for some quick short solos to work on. I'm sick of scales and want to work with something with more substance. just aim in the direction of
pantera
metallica
red hot chili peppers
rage against the machine
led zeppelin
jimi hendrix
alice in chains
jane's addiction
and other classics
just aim in that direction.
