What are some pros and cons of supporting judge sotomayor?

I have a paper due for my ap gov class. I am supposed to be writting a memorandum to a moderate republican congresswoman listing the pros and cons of supporting sotomayor. She is up for reelection in 2010 and her district is in a rust belt state. The population is a majority suburban white upper middle class and a growing urban hispanic population. I have to give specific advice on dealing with party leaders, suburban constituents and urban hispanics in her district. Any help you can give i would really appreciate.
 
I know very little of her butshe has a hard stance against White Males in general! An activist from the bench because on several key Judgements she feels Latino's are being Ignored and banned from American Society. Her Voice is more so along activism than just simply seeing the facts and making judgements on that! President Obama called it Empathy? Yeah! I guess if your a Woman Latino then she would or has showed alot of Empathy! I wonder if I only displayed Empathy toward White Missouri Males in there 40's how much Empathy is that toward the other 98% of the Human Race?
 
pros: she is pro life, so roe v.wade will be overturned. That's about it for positives. Cons: she is a bleeding heart libtard, who wants to legislate from the bench.
