...stroker w/ a carb? I have noticed that premium unleaded does make it pick up its skirts a little compared to regular. It doesn't have a higher top speed but the premium does make it accelerate quicker. This tells me that its designed to run on high octaine. I have also heard that the AV gas contains lead and that primitive engines were designed to run on fuel containing lead. I am not sure what year the engine is but its in a 66 chevy. The engine was rebuilt 20k miles ago. its coupled with a holley 4bbl and a holley high rise. Am I going to damage the engine? Please educate me.
I do not want to feed it av gas all the time. I just wanted to put 3 or 4 gallons in it this one time and have a little fun.
