Rotties for life!

I have Platies and a Rainbow Shark. Are there any nice looking and able to get along with these buddies? They Rainbow and the Platies (3) are the same size right now. I was just wondering if there are cute fish that are tropical that will look good with them. I also like the glo-fish. I just want to spark my tank up a bit.
Also 1 platy is pregnant. I have 2 females and 1 male! =)
The only reason why I get my fish from petsmart, is because of that reason. They end up much prettier and healthier. My tank is 75 gallons. I just want the kind of fish that are 5+ gallons. Like platies. I am looking to breed them. I have already a fry tank set up for when the "big day" comes!
Also, I bought Tropical Crisps, would that be ok for my Rainbow Shark? Its not the flakes, but the crisps.
I'm thinking of 2 mollies, 2 guppies (1 male 1 female), and 1 sword tail. Maybe a few glo-fish. But I would not get these instantly. I would get like the 2 mollies one week, then the next week I will get the 2 guppies, then so on and so forth.
And a tetra or 2. Thats all I really am planning to get. My tank is bear with only 4 fish. =( but I will hope to get these! =) Thanks everyone! Stop THUMBS downing! All the answers are GREAT!
