I've always held that the Bible is a unverversal instruction manual on living. But what if there are new things (which could be sins) that are not discussed in the Bible?
Homosexual acts are in the Bible but even the context of that sin is argued at length in this post-modern world.
How about abortion? Not sure if that's in the Bible.
Pornography? I think that's missing.
Gambling is missing, for 100% sure.
Are there any other things that are considered sins by the church but aren't actually in the Bible?
How about some issues that aren't sins but it would be good to have guidance about it? Like dating. Well, there is a whole book of the Bible about that, but just using it as an example. Is there anything else? Maybe something about the internet. Or job hunting. I don't know. That's why I'm asking all of you.
And I'm asking about specific examples. Gambling is absolutely NOT in the bible but many people call it a sin because of some roundabout "logical" thinking about mentions of easy money in scripture.
