I know this is kind of a stupid question but it doesn't hurt to ask. Here's my situation. I went to watch a movie at a theatre and forgot my pocketbook on the seat. I called and went back and it has not turned up. I asked if they could check the camera's to see who walked out with it because there was only 3 other people in the same theatre and plus the cleaning crew and they said the camera's here are pointless because they don't show anything. Is there any law that can do anything because their camera's didn't work? I know it was my fault that i forgot the pocketbook but couldn't it be possible that if their camera's worked they could have helped me find out who stole it? I am more concerned about this because my passport, credit cards, both car keys, driver's license, and house keys was in it. Who ever has it has access to my house, car and my entire identity.
