What are some great mystery books.?

What are some great mystery books and when i say books i do not mean like short stories compiled together or detective sherlock holmes. I mean modern set mystery stories for adolescents that are extremely suspenseful and great page-turners with a maybe a bit of fiction.
 
well...
i dont really dwell upon the adolescent novels, im a bit old for my age. (i borrowed some teenage books yesterday! YAY!)
but i do know some good mystery authors
