what are some good verizon phones?

Mostly every touch screen phone has to have a data plan. I have the Samsung Rouge. It's AMAZING! The only other phone that is PART touch screen is the Moterola Rival.

I'm getting a phone for my birthday and idk what one i want. i would like a touch screen but i don't want to have to get the data plan.

any other decent phones?
