I am new to home ownership and would love to get out there and start planting....half of the yard is all grass, the other half is lightly wooded without grass. some of the areas receive dappled sunlight, and some spots get morning sun, and others get full afternoon sun. Any suggestions for perennials, trees, shrubs I should plant?
